Crockpot Italian Chicken

I made this recipe from a cookbook my friend LeeAnn gave me. It was really easy and very delicious! Brett declared it a success! Plus I love how crockpot cooking makes the whole house smell so delicious! The gravy was particularly tasty!

Ingredients:
4 boneless skinless chicken breasts (can be frozen or thawed)
1 cube butter
1 envelope Italian dressing mix
8 oz. cream cheese (I used low-fat), softened
1 can cream of chicken soup
Milk

Directions:
Put chicken breasts and butter in crockpot and sprinkle with Italian dressing mix. Cook until chicken is done (4-5 hours on low). Remove chicken from the pot. Blend cream cheese and soup in a separate bowl until smooth. Slowly whisk into liquid in crockpot left over from chicken. Add milk as needed to reach a gravy consistency. Return chicken to pot. Cook on low another 30 minutes or until hot. Serve over noodles or with mashed potatoes.
